[area-51] m17x R1 need command center.

hello everyone, it's been 2 years i'm not able to recover the driver for the command center.
my pc is an [area-51] m17x R1, but since alieware switched to dell there seems to be no
way to recover the older software!
Is there anyone that could send me the original software that works my laptop?
I already tried the more recent versions but they are not compatible (ever with the area51-m17 version).
That would help a lot

Computer is an Alienware M7700 which reported by PO started to slow down and eventually freeze when he was using it. PC came with an Intel P4 3.0 GHz cpu and Quadro FX 2500 GPU. It has already been stripped down cleaned out and re-assembled. I just swapped out the CPU to the P4 670 3.8GHz model. Came with supposedly Alienware Windows 7 32-bit. Anyway using multiple diagnostic programs like AIDA64 I am getting null for temp readings. So I am thinking the temperature sensor is no good for the...

Ello everyone, Inrecently bought me this fine beast with a problem . The laptop starts but gives me no screen . Stays black i hear fans running cd player rrunning . I swapped the gpu,s from place so master to slave . No screen . What coud be the problem here ? 2 failed gpu,s memory dead ? Hhd dead ? The guy i bought it from said " one day it work the next no screen"

Ok, so I'm new to posting here, but have been reading as much as I can. A few years ago I came across this Laptop, and it's primary goal is to replace my Dell D530. It's coming to the end if it's life, and without xp pro support, it's time to move on.

Anyway, rebuilding the 17x barebones from the ground up.
-New F17 motherboard, questionable on -the old as I wasn't able to test it.
-New daughter boards
- half size pci cards: the Dell M17 R4 wirelesss card,(1103 killer) and a 2GB turbo...

Can Alienware X51 R2 handle GTX1080?
I don't know, I see that the power rated less then the gtx 980.
just wondering, and you think I could sli the gtx 1080 on the Alienware Aurora R4?

Not sure some of you are aware (I wasn't) Alienware will be making the X51 end of life, which is shame as I was looking to purchase one in 2017 as a gaming centre and media server.

I bought a dirt cheap Alienware M5500 (pre-dell) laptop with an Intel Pentium M 2 GHZ a gig of ram and a nVidia GeForce Go 6600. It was in rough shape when I got it, but I fixed it all up! (new thermal paste, dusting, new OS) Runs very well now.

Now, my plans for this system is to use this as a more "vintage" gaming computer. From late 90s to mid 2000s. It looks great and is a classic design. Please note, I know this is an older computer. I don't want to run the latest games!! I just want...

i've been looking literally everywhere for a working copy of command center for my area 51 m17x r1. it just doesn't seem to exist anywhere. i've found protivakid's dropbox link for area 51 m15x drivers and stuffs, which does include command center, but it doesn't work on my machine for some inexplicable reason. it keeps saying my processor isn't compatible when i try to install it. so if someone could post an actually working link for command center or give any tips that would be most...

someone please help me. i can't find any drivers for the area 51 m17x. very few i've found work, but most say that the system is not compatible or something along those lines. i'd really love to get this system up and running.

here's the specs for it in case that changes anything:
core 2 duo t8100 2.1ghz
2gb ram
160gb wd blue hdd
win7 pro x64 sp1 fresh install (from oem alienware disc i got with a newer dell unit)
unknown gpu (just one installed currently)

the keyboard on my area 51 m17x is non backlit, and it is almost impossible to type at night. can i have some help finding a backlit keyboard for my system? for someone with an fx enabled keyboard, would you mind telling me the part/model numbers? it would really help in finding the exact right model.

i ordered a quadro fx 3700m (not sure if hp or lenovo board as of yet. will need to wait for it to arrive to find out) for my area 51 m17x r1 to give it a little bit more life. it previously had dual 8600m gt cards, so i believe this will be a sizable upgrade. however i'm not sure if it will work automatically. i've read on this site about flashing the card to something else to increase compatibility. the thread i read about that was trying to get 2x 280m's to work though. would i need to do...

OK so I got a notification today on my AURORA R5 about driver updates through the Support Assistant. Every driver update installed without issue. My only problem was the Intel Management Engine Interface driver update. It is version 11.0.0.1178, A00.

I told it to install and then it asked me to reboot so I did. Upon boot up I lunched Support Assistant again and it still showed the same update for the IMEI driver. I then tried a few more times with the same result. I downloaded the driver...
